Design activities related to: · Prototype structural system development and manufacturing, experimental optimization and system modifications. · Combustion systems considering fuel, load and operational conditions and emission control. · Energy conversion systems (Thermal, cogeneration, combined cycle, hydraulic, wind, geothermal power plants, gas turbines, industrial boilers and furnaces) development, rehabilitation and innovation. · Different combustion systems such as grate, burner and fluidized bed combustors appropriate for burning of indigenes colas and designs pertaining to combustor rehabilitation and innovation. · Design and structural development of application oriented most appropriate fuel-oil and natural gas fired boiler systems whilst taking into account fuel, environmental and operational conditions. · Design and structural development of the most appropriate Turkish lignite fired circulating fluidized bed boilers. · Design and structural development, application oriented and most appropriate heat recovery systems and boilers. · Design and structural development of emission control systems (particles, SO2 and NOx filters) whilst taking into account fuel and boiler properties, operational, environmental and economical conditions. · Design and structural development of district heating and cooling system. · Design and structural development of different renewable energy conversion systems such as; wind, solar radiation, hydraulic, geothermal, biomass etc. · Structural design optimization and rehabilitation of industrial boilers, furnaces, cement kilns.
